Patient Information
Please note that if your child has not received any of the recommended immunizations by the age of 6 months or after that I am still happy to see your child, but please inform my secretary of this fact. In the interest of my other patients I will prefer to see you in the late afternoon to minimize the potential exposure of infants and small children in my practice to vaccine preventable diseases.
I am providing immunizations in my rooms as a service to my patients. If your child is behind on vaccinations please let me know and immunisations can possibly be caught up during the same visit. If you prefer to immunise elsewhere that is perfectly fine as well. There are many providers available for this service (midwifes, pharmacies and GP practices) that are often more conveniently located than my practice.
Office Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30, Friday: 08:00 – 12:30
Feel free to contact us.
For urgent cases please let my medical secretary know about the reason for the urgency. She will attempt to give you an appointment as soon as possible for sick children. Otherwise, you will be given an appointment according to the next opening or be directed to other facilities for attention for urgent service.
Should you be unable to secure an appointment you can visit your nearest casualty and inform the attending staff that I am your treating paediatrician..

Outside of the office hours I am reachable via the casualties in Windhoek or for referrals directly by the referring doctor. You can also send me an email and I will attend to it as soon as possible. Appointments can be made via phone or email.
If you cannot get hold of my office at the landline number during office hours, please continue trying, as the most common reason for not getting through is that my medical secretary is busy on the other line. The system will not always give you a busy sign in that case. You can also leave a message on the answering machine and you will be called back during office hours. In that case please remember to leave your name and number so we have a way of contacting you back. Thirdly, you can make use of the other booking options via office WhatsApp or email.
